L’Automne, much like L'Arthur, is designed with both the architecture of Chicago and the print history of Montréal in mind. Hand-fabricated from solid steel and with no welds, this small tabletop press is designed for a lifetime of use and is easy to transport and maintain for every artist.

L’Automne can handle a wide range of pressure, making it perfect for printing monotypes, etchings, engravings, collagraph, lino, woodcut relief, photopolymer, photogravure, mezzotint, and even photographic litho-plates.

Upgradeable options to expand your press including handles, our own custom Alpha-Numeric pressure gauges with T-Slip handles, press beds, and larger top cylinders.

  • Hand-machined and fabricated

  • Industrial grade bearings 

  • Ergonomic hand dials for raising and lowering the top roller

  • Designed with maintenance in mind with industrial-grade bolts for added strength and torsion control under the heaviest and lasting pressures for printing all types of print methodologies
